Soy México

Con la música mexicana corriendo por sus venas, el sabor del tequila y toda la esencia de un país surge esta moderna pero a la vez antigua agrupación musical.

Teniendo como su formación un violín, el arpa, guitarrón y vihuela conforman un mariachi tradicional de los inicios de la era de esta música tan representativa mexicana, donde ellos han encontrado una forma muy sublime de llevarla hasta nuestros días haciendo adiciones, arreglos y además llevando esta pequeña formación mas allá, dándole toques internacionales sin fronteras interpretando una gran variedad de música mexicana, latinoamericana, norteamericana y por supuesto temas clásicos de la música del mundo.

Esta agrupación ha estado ligada a los mas altos estándares de la música siendo algunos de sus miembros maestros en el Encuentro Internacional del Mariachi en la ciudad de Guadalajara, además acompañando a artistas de talla internacional como Vicente Fernández, Alejandro Fernández, Juan Gabriel, Jenny Rivera entre otros y ser parte del festejo del 50 aniversario de John Travolta teniendo a toda la comunidad de Hollywood reunida y recibiendo su reconocimiento, además de tocar de manera exclusiva en el cumpleaños de Jennifer Aniston y Leonardo DiCaprio, y tocar en incontables ocasiones para el cantante mexicano Luis Miguel.

Habitando actualmente en Los Cabos B.C.S, ahora llevan su música por toda la región, donde han tocado en los principales hoteles como es The One and Only Palmilla (tocando aquí de manera consecutiva por 9 años), Capella Pedregal, Hilton, entre otros.


Soy México

With Mexican music running through their veins, the flavor of tequila and the full essence of the Mexican landscape surges from this modern take on the traditional musical ensemble.

With a violin, harp, guitarron (bass), and vihuela (guitar accompaniment), Soy México forms a traditional Mariachi band echoing the early days of this classic Mexican sound, who through their custom and original arrangements, additions, and improvisations, move beyond borders, offering interpretations with a modern and international flair. 

Performing a wide variety of Mexican, Latin, and American music in addition to the world’s classics, Soy México holds to the highest standards of music-making anywhere. Several of the band’s members are also teachers at the “Encuentro Internacional del Mariachi” (Mariachi International Meeting) in Guadalajara, (the home of the mariachi), and the band has performed with internationally-renowned artists such as Vicente Fernandez, Alejandro Fernandez, Juan Gabriel and others. Soy México was part of John Travolta’s 50th birthday party, performing to the ranks of Hollywood’s elite; and they also performed at Jennifer Aniston’s and Leonardo DiCaprio’s exclusive birthday celebrations. The band has also played countless times for the famous Mexican singer Luis Miguel.

Based in Los Cabos, Soy México now brings its music throughout the region, playing at such major resorts as The One and Only Palmilla (where they performed for nine consecutive years), Capella Pedregal, and the Hilton, among others.
